Massachusetts Gas Prices Drop for 8th Consecutive Week

Massachusetts Gas Prices have now dipped for eight consecutive weeks, and we saw prices this business week $0.08 lower then the beginning of last week.

The gas station at Holden Oil has maintained competive prices, with $3.48 for regular self serve gas. The state average currently sits at $3.51. (As of 6/14/12)

Energy prices heading down!

Oil and gasoline prices continued to fall today. Heating oil prices have dropped almost forty cents since the peak back in February and at the pumps, gasoline and diesel prices have dropped thirty cents. With vacation season upon us, the drop at the pumps brings welcome relief. Propane gas prices have dropped substantially as well and on a BTU to BTU basis, propane gas and heating oil are priced competitively.

Peabody Green Fest

On Saturday, April 28th, The Peabody Green Committee will be hosting the Annual Greenfest at the Torigian Life Center on Central Street in Peabody. There will be green related exhibits and a number of speakers on all kinds of interesting topics. Chuck Holden will again be speaking on energy costs and our position in the world markets. The event is held from 9 AM to 2 PM.

As much as people hate to see them, annual rental bills on propane tanks have been sent out. The propane tanks, regulators and bases that we place on your property represent a significant investment by Holden Oil and require periodic maintenance.
